Windows Platform San Storage disk alignment for better Performance.





Kindly perform the alignment for all the disk/LUN's via diskpart as given steps below. The alignment to be done from only one node i.e. primary and then format and assign drive letter from primary node. 
No need to do it from secondary node as both primary and seconadry are pointing to same LUN. 
The alignment is mandatory for Intel based platforms for better performance. 
The steps are mentioned below, same steps repeat for each Lun.
 
Use the Microsoft Diskpart utility and follow these steps :
1.     Run LIST DISK  command.
2.    
Note the desired disk number and run SELECT DISK n   command   (where n  is the    desired disk number).
3.    
Execute create partition primary align=1024  
4.    
Follow steps 1-3 for all five disk/LUN.
